With reference to your letter of the 5th May last relating to the case of Mrs. Pope, Widow of the late Cyril Engleheart of Clerk of the works at Hong Kong, I am directed by The Lords Commissioners of the King's Treasury to acquaint you for the information of Paul Lyttelton that Mr. Arbuthnot of this Office, has by their Lordships' directions made a payment of fifty pounds (£50) to Mrs. Pope out of Her Majesty's Royal Bounty.
